 Since 1951, our company has been built on one simple belief: exceptional service comes from consistent relationships and genuine care. What began as a small, local commercial cleaning company founded by Warren and Millie Armstrong over seven decades ago, has grown into one of New Mexico’s most trusted commercial cleaning providers.

True entrepreneurs, Warren and Millie successfully operated both Armstrong Building Maintenance and Armstrong Pest Control for decades, steadily expanding their commercial cleaning services throughout the greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. From the beginning, the business was built on a “consistent-touch” service model—ensuring every client received weekly, hands-on management attention from the same dedicated team. That philosophy continues to set us apart today.

In the late 1970s, the next generation stepped in when Don and Sharon Crismore (Millie's daughter) purchased the company and rebranded it as Maintenance Service Systems, Inc. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant growth, expanding service offerings and geographic reach across the entire state of New Mexico, as well as into Texas and Arizona. While we are proud of our multi-state expansion, we ultimately made a strategic decision to focus our expertise where it matters most—serving our New Mexico communities.

Today, Maintenance Service Systems remains proudly family-owned and operated by the third generation—Kim, Shawn, and Wendy Crismore—supported by an experienced administrative and management team and a highly trained workforce of nearly 300 employees. We provide comprehensive commercial cleaning and floor care services statewide, serving a diverse range of industries and facilities.

Our greatest measure of success is our long-standing client relationships—many of which span decades. We are proud to continue serving clients first brought to us years ago, while consistently earning the trust of new customers through reliability, accountability, and superior service.
